Name: Amy Jo Jackson
Hometown: If I tell you, I won't seem nearly as mysterious.
Education: Boston Conservatory
Who do you play in Kapow-i Go Go?: Madame Blood, Super Villainess Mastermind!
Describe your character(s) in three words: Pure, unadulterated evil.
Tell us about Kapow-i Go Go: The show is a high-energy, delightful subversion and homage to the cartoons we grew up loving, as well as a bunch of super nerdy stuff I don't know about, but enjoy watching anyway!
Describe Kapow-i Go Go in three words: Epic Fun Levels
What’s the wildest costume you wear in Kapow-i Go Go?: Now, now, now, a lady never reveals her secrets. But you'd be safe to guess it involves spandex.
What’s your favorite all-time afterschool cartoon?: Oh, man, this answer is REALLY going to date me - I loved "Darkwing Duck" SO much. And, of course, the original "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,""Rescue Rangers," and anything else involving animals solving crime!!
If you could be a character from any anime or cartoon, who would you be?: Personality-wise, Belle from "Beauty and the Beast," because I love me some books, but if we're talking general wardrobe and style, give me Maleficent any day.
Which company member has the most larger than life personality?: Matt Cox? He has the most distinctive voice, so I'm gonna pretend that's what you've asked, and go with that.
Which company member is most likely to get lost in this world?: Asia Kate Dillon is pretty other-worldly, so maybe she doesn't really belong on this planet...
Most likely to actually be a cartoon character in real life?: Matt Cox. 100% Matt Cox.
Most likely to be a super villain?: Please, this cast is full of cuddly nerds who like playing dress-up. I'm the closest thing to a super villain, and I do musicals sometimes, so...that should give you some perspective.
Most likely to go on an epic journey?: Ugh, I don't know, but some of these cats live in Bushwick, so I'll go with all the Brooklynites in the company.
Who’s the best fighter?: Gonna go with our fight captain, Alex Gould. It's most assuredly not I.
Revenge or vengeance?: Vengeance, darling, vengeance.
What would be your victory song?: Probably "Feeling Good," as sung by the glorious Nina Simone.
What is your signature move?: A champagne toast? *clink!*
What’s the biggest inside joke at Kapow-i Go Go?: I've just joined the cast for the PIT version (my character didn't exist before), so I'm not yet privy to much of the nonsense that went on in the previous incarnation!
What is your favorite moment in Kapow-i Go Go?: I love Kapow-i's hair SO MUCH.
Why should we come see Kapow-i Go Go?: Great characters, amazing writing, hilarious actors, SO MANY COLORFUL OBJECTS.
